simple pure joy....

we could list forever.  we humans could learn a lot from a dog.  take a look today and decide what has your dog taught you?

a season...

What is your season?

Mine is fall...I truly do love them all for so many reasons.  I think I tend to love fall, because so many good, life changing things happen in the fall.  Our lives are also seasons, and this is a scrappy season.  I have been newly inspired to create with paper goods.  To take the time to reflect on summer and embrace the new time of memories to come.

First I must clean and purge.  It will be difficult.  I doesn't matter the age of the scrappy goodies.  I am able to still look at it and find beauty.  Promise, Potential, Possibilities.  Today begins the Process.  Fall cleaning if you will.  Because it is time to start a new plan to winter

I am also starting to think winter and Christmas and planning my December daily.  I am hopeful that a few close scrappy friends join me again.

I am.....

Today is it, this is the day to start a few weeks worth of appointments to braces!  A big change, a milestone, and chance to make her so happy.  Funny how something kinda scary can be looked at as exciting!

She was bouncing off the walls to have extractions!  I am thinking seriously.  I am happy for her.  I am scared for her.  I am a mom.  I am filled with so many emotions.  I let go a bit more today.  I am wondering where the time is going.  I am trying to hang on and catch up.  I am proud.

Life's greatest reward.....childhood...and getting to do it again as an adult!

I often think motherhood is what makes such good scrappers.  I have been creative all my life.  I grew up in a very creative family.  But until I had a child and my heart opened, my creativity just didn't explode.  I think that is what draws it out of us, the childhood that is in front of us.  Their beautiful eyes and what they see.

I am alot of things while being a mom, but mostly I am at peace. 

I am grateful everyday. I am loving life in her eyes.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!

I am very excited and grateful....This is my new favorite and very popping sassy layout....This little number was chosen, featured and published with Archivers for the 10th annual Scrapfest.  I know right!
I just want to share I only wish you could hold and touch this layout.  It dances off the page. 

The 10 squares behind are all machine stitched, inked and heated with love.  I have a little secret for you
to get the edges to curl naturally warm them a bit and they will soften and become delightful.  The one thing I love most about this layout is simply the photo.  I can and do scrap everyday, but every once in a while there comes "that" photo.  Take 100's and get one that you love--they were all worth it.  This layout is in the photo - proof be told, I scrapped it in many ways to get the one that I love.  Each time it was fabulous.

This weekend Scrapfest was held in Minnesota and Mall of America...it was their 10th year.  It was overwhelming and so excting once again.

My peeps and I made our way and it was spectacular fun!  What more can we ask for scrapping, food, shopping, and time with my chicka's.  More scrapping!

I have the true luxury of living close to the MOA and yes I even have worked there.  Years ago I was a visual merchandiser for a fun company and a manager for another.  If you love to shop it is mall heaven.

Overall Archivers put on a great event and inspired me to get out there and scrap all day and not work anymore..  Wahhooo way to go.  Now I just need my family to agree to the not working thingy.  ;0
