The anticipation

More winter anticipation.  More snow is coming and we can't wait.  They are planning two days of Snow and more Snow.  You might be where we are. Enough already!  yet when it is coming there is this electricity.

Snow falls bring....

Crisp

Blanket

Anew

Excitement

Anticipation

Expectations

Joy

Frustration

Chill

School closing

a runner
quiet

traveller
swimmer
family
most of all he is loved and loved and loved...

he gives more love than most, some days we could all take a moment to learn from our dogs....

life in motion..

that is how today is going...busy bees painting and getting the fever for spring...

looking forward to spring...

we are quietly sitting, moving, doing...but mostly we are waiting....
it our part of the world when the cold weather comes we adapt quickly, life moves forward and we truly do enjoy the change of the season..

the shades of white
the brisk of cold on your nose...take it in...
the reminder you are alive
the 40* belows
the north wind
the drifts
the shoveling
the days 30* above is a break for shorts
the fat fluffy socks
the many delightful scarves of color
the textures of layers
......oh...the layers
the comfort foods
the warmth of a fire
the bundle
the boots
the events
the snow
the ice forming
the restful time
the silence
the snowmen
the many tones of grey
the bright of sunshine on the snow
the frosted trees
the chance to catch up on movies
the time that slows

but mostly it is the anticipation of spring....
the colors to arrive and the glorious sounds of spring...

i am pretty sure it is time for the flowers to start the blooming...
but wait it is snowing a glorious sparkle...
